MVP

Test the idea before you build everything.

A product built in full before the first test spends the budget on features users may never use. You get a prototype or a first working version for a clear hypothesis, with an evaluation criterion set before launch.

Signs you need it

Situations you'll recognize.

  • You have an idea and want to find out whether there's demand before the big investment.
  • Investors or partners ask you for something concrete to see.
  • You know the main feature, but the wish list grows every week.
  • You want to test with 10–50 pilot users.
  • You don't know whether you need a mobile app or a web page.

What isn't included

  • An MVP doesn't guarantee the idea will be validated commercially.
  • The prototype doesn't save data and is not a working app.
  • Promoting the pilot is a separate service.
  • Postponed features are not part of the cost.
What you get

Concrete deliverables, with clear limits.

The base package includes exactly what is described here. Anything else is added explicitly, with price and hours.

Test prototype

The 600 EUR option: linked screens, a test scenario and an evaluation criterion. It doesn't include production code.

Working MVP

The 2,000 EUR option: one main flow that works with real data.

Evaluation criterion

What result confirms or refutes the hypothesis, set before the test.

The postponed list

The features left for the next iteration, documented.

What the process looks like

The essential feature, tested, then the feedback

  1. 01The hypothesis

What we want to learn from the first version.

  2. 02The main feature

The one flow without which the test makes no sense.

  3. 03Pilot

    Real users use the version.

  4. 04Feedback

Conclusions and the list for the next iteration.

What changes the complexity and the cost

Four choices that matter.

The price comes from these choices, not from a vague estimate.

Prototype or working product

Two distinct options: 600 or 2,000 EUR. They don't add up.

The indispensable modules

Only what is needed for the test, at 250 EUR each.

The platform

The browser is included; a limited mobile version costs 1,000 EUR.

Measurement

Events and interviews, for well-founded conclusions.

What you need to prepare

  • The hypothesis, in one sentence
  • The pilot audience or how we find it
  • The feature without which the test makes no sense
  • What can wait
  • The criterion you'll decide by

What we take on

  • Clarifying the hypothesis and the criterion
  • The prototype or the flow development
  • Measurement tools, with consent
  • Launch for the pilot
  • The conclusions report
How we work together

Approvals, revisions, handover.

You work directly with the assigned specialist: Product / MVP Specialist.

Hypothesis workshop

We agree on what we test and what we postpone.

Short iterations

You see progress at every step.

3 rounds per stage

Consolidated revisions, within the chosen flow.

Conclusions

We discuss the results and the next iteration.

DC Workspace

Always know where your project stands.

After you order, your project (MVP) gets its own space in DC Workspace: you see the stages, approve deliverables and send us materials without lost emails.

What is the difference between a prototype and an MVP?

A prototype is a clickable simulation: it shows how the product would work, but doesn't save data. A working MVP is a real app, limited to one main flow. You choose one of the options; you don't pay for both bases.

What does hypothesis mean in this context?

A statement you can check, for example “clinics will book online if they get a confirmation within 5 minutes”. We also set the criterion: what result confirms it.

Does the MVP validate the idea?

Not automatically. The MVP is the testing tool. The result depends on the pilot audience, the message and the market. Sometimes the most useful result is that the hypothesis isn't confirmed, before a big investment.

How many features go in?

The main feature and only the modules without which the test makes no sense. We document the rest for the next iteration. What you postpone is not part of the cost.

Can I continue on the same code after the test?

Yes, if the result justifies it. The working MVP is built so it can be extended. The next stage is estimated separately, usually under SaaS platforms or Mobile apps.

How do we find pilot users?

Among your customers, your internal team, a community or through a small campaign. Promoting the pilot is a separate service, with a media budget paid directly to the platforms.

How long does it take?

The prototype has an estimated effort of 18 hours; the working MVP, 60 hours. The exact date depends on capacity and feedback and appears on the order page.
