Payments and instalments

Currency and exchange rate

• The catalog uses EUR as the reference. Payment is made in RON, at the NBR exchange rate shown on the order page, with its publication date.
• When the order is confirmed, the exchange rate and all RON amounts are fixed, including future instalments. They don't change daily with the exchange rate.
• Rounding is to the nearest ban, and the rounding difference is applied to the last instalment of the plan.
• Prices are final. No VAT is added.

Payment methods

• Card, through the secure Stripe page, when the method is active. Card details never reach DC Media.
• Bank transfer, with the order's unique reference, when the method is active. An initiated transfer is not considered received until the funds are confirmed in the account.
• The return page from the payment processor does not confirm the payment by itself; the status is updated after the processor's verification.

Projects

• Standard: 30% deposit when ordering and 70% at handover.
• Six monthly instalments, for eligible projects: the net project total is increased by 30% and split into six equal instalments; the first is paid when ordering, with no additional deposit. The plan includes basic maintenance for the duration of the instalments.
• Example: a 1,000 EUR project in six instalments has a total of 1,300 EUR, meaning six instalments of about 216.67 EUR.

Photo-video production and UGC

Production with a booked date, operator or travel, as well as new UGC clips, require a deposit of at least 50% when ordering and the 50% balance on delivery. Editing without filming, from the client's footage, follows the project rule.

Monthly subscriptions

• Social media, SEO and advertising: the first month is paid in full at the start, then each month in advance. The initial setup, if any, is paid once at the start.
• Available durations are 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, with no automatic discount for duration.
• The media budget is paid directly to the platforms and is not collected by DC Media.

Maintenance

• First month: 50% at the start and 50% at the end of the first month.
• If the second month also starts, on that date you pay the 50% balance of the first month plus 100% of the second month.
• From the third month on, each month is paid in full, in advance.
• Example at 99 EUR/month: 49.50 EUR at the start, 148.50 EUR at the first monthly anniversary, then 99 EUR. For a single month: 49.50 EUR at the start and 49.50 EUR at the end.
• For starts on the 29, 30 or 31 of the month, due dates are calculated from the initial date, using the last available day of the month.

The discount for the complementary service

• When you order a main service together with an eligible complementary one, you get a 30% discount only on the complementary service.
• For monthly services, the discount applies only to the first month; the following months are at the standard rate.
• The discount does not apply to setup, the domain, the media budget, licenses or external usage, and does not stack with other discounts on the same component.
• If you remove the main service before payment, the discount is recalculated and the change is shown to you.
• For a complementary project paid in instalments, the discount is applied first, then the instalment plan increase.

Failed payments and refunds

• A failed payment does not activate the service. You can retry it from the order page; retries don't create duplicate instalments.
• Refunds are made in the currency and through the method of the original payment, for the RON amount received, not at the exchange rate on the day of the refund.
• Refunding one payment does not automatically cancel the other instalments; each action is handled separately and communicated to you.
